Pre-Shipment Inspection
Prior to dispatch, each tire must undergo a thorough quality check. Clean mud, oil, and debris from the tread surface. Carefully inspect sidewalls, bead areas, and valve stems for cracks, bulges, rubber peeling, or other defects. Verify that the tire size, ply rating, and tread pattern match the order specifications. Confirm the quantity, shipping address, and batch registration records. Any defective or incorrectly sized tires must be strictly excluded from shipment.
Packaging
Wrap each tire completely with stretch film to prevent friction scratches and contamination from dust or oil during transit. For bulk shipments, place tires on standard pallets, arranged neatly in the same orientation. Insert rigid cardboard separators between layers and secure firmly with strapping bands to prevent rolling or shifting due to vibration. Protect protruding valve stems with individual padding to avoid impact damage.
Loading & Unloading
Use professional equipment such as forklifts or lifting slings for loading and unloading. Do not drag or roll tires directly. Ensure forklift tines do not press against the delicate bead areas. Follow the principle of placing heavier and larger tires at the bottom, with lighter and smaller ones on top. Large agricultural tires should be stored in a single layer, and stacking height must be kept to a minimum to prevent deformation of lower tires caused by excessive pressure.
Transportation
Prefer enclosed vans or box trucks for shipment to avoid prolonged outdoor exposure to direct sunlight and rain. Keep tires away from oils, acids, alkalis, and other corrosive substances to prevent rubber degradation. Secure cargo inside the vehicle with wooden wedges to eliminate movement. Instruct drivers to maintain smooth driving, minimizing sudden braking and sharp turns that cause violent jolts.
